William B. “Bill” Hendrick ’71

Brother Bill Hendrick ’71 is one of three Hendrick Kappa Sigmas. His father, Bill Sr. was initiated into the Epsilon-Delta Chapter (Northwestern), and his brother, Roger, ’73 followed him as a Gamma-Tau.

After graduating Magna Cum Ladue from the University of Colorado in 1974 with a degree in Finance and Accounting, Brother Hendrick continued his education earning an MBA from Seattle University in 1978.

Bill started as a trader with Dempsey & Company, working in the Chicago Stock Exchange, spent some time back in Seattle, as the Budget Director for Ocean Beauty Seafoods, as well as time in Budget and accounting for GTE (General Telephone of the Northwest). Hendrick currently hangs his hat in Boulder as the Controller for Wilton
Manufacturing.

Brother Hendrick has been active with Gamma-Tau since being initiated. He has served on the House Board, including spending eight years as Treasurer – a post he continues to hold now. He was also the spearhead of the recolonization and remodeling efforts.

Bill is also very involved in the community as well as fraternity, where he is a member of Flatirons Rotary, New Hope Cattle Dog Rescue of Colorado, Boulder Humane Society, and involved with the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, where the National Geographic Channel TV show “Dog Town” is filmed. Once a month Bill donates blood at Bonfils, and he also cooks for the homeless at Carriage House on a monthly basis as well.

Bill credits Kappa Sigma for helping form lifelong friendships, “my best friends are still Kappa Sigma brothers who I have known for over 35 years” and is excited about what he sees going on at Gamma-Tau now, “I’m proud to see the fraternity back in Boulder and enjoy working with the new brothers, who have started from scratch and already accomplished a great deal.”
